The Gordon Setter International Club and the Setter & Pointer Club Suisse inform that the next edition of the Autumn European Championship for Gordon Setter will take place on October 8 and 9, in Nohant en Gracay (France). The GSIC is an association founded in 1994 by the French, Swisse, German, Dutch and Italian breed club.

The championship will be a field trial on pheasants and partridges, without shooting and retrieve  (sur gibier naturel , faisans et perdreaux, non tiré; donc pas de rapport pour les chiens classes),  with the CACIT in two days and according to the rules of FCI.

Participation is only on an individual basis, not for teams, and can run all gordon setter regularly registered at the Kennel Club.

I like to invite all you to participate on this important field trial, I think it’s a good opportunity to examine the state of the breed.
